Coffee rust seen in Moloka’i and Kaua’i

The Hawaiian state agriculture board has now confirmed the presence of Coffee Rust on two additional islands, Moloka’i and Kaua’i.  Previous sightings on Maui and Oahu have generated a swift response by the EPA to issue an emergency use authorization for the use of pesticides not previously approved by the FDA.  This spread is worldwide and Trana Discovery stands ready to assist in finding bio-selective agents that will kill this resistant fungus while causing little off-target damage.
