World MRSA Day – the Ongoing Global MRSA Epidemic

Jeanine Thomas, founder of World MRSA Day and MRSA Survivors Network said, “Everyone is at risk for a methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection just as the public is at risk for COVID -19.”  Trana Discovery has already designed a discovery assay that identified compounds that were microbiologically active vs. MRSA.  We agree that this remains an ever-present danger to anyone as approximately 85% of all MRSA infections are acquired in healthcare facilities.
