The Global Ongoing MRSA Epidemic

The founder of MRSA Survivors Network. Is recommending a renewed emphasis on handwashing and the use of new agents to stem the rapid expansion of MRSA infections.  They feel that The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) vastly underreports MRSA infection rates every year in the US.  Additionally, they suggest that the current CDC guidelines in not recommending routine screening should change much like the VA hospital system that has routinely screened for MRSA to good benefit.
